How-To-Play
A step-by-step guide to playing DB-Hunt in Twitch chat, preparing for a battle, and building your fighter over time.
Where to play: Open the Twitch channel running DB-Hunt and type commands into its chat. This website is a companion reference; battles and commands happen in Twitch chat. The streamer must have the game enabled.
The short version
Join the queue, choose an unlocked fighter, equip compatible capsules (or choose to fight without them), and watch the battle resolve automatically. Battles award experience and a capsule drop; Dragon Balls can drop as a bonus.
!battle → !goku → !early (if prompted) → !equip 1
Commands are examples: follow the bot's current prompt, since available fighters and capsule IDs depend on your unlocks and inventory.
1. Check the game and your account
In the game's Twitch chat, use !help to see player commands. Use !toon to list all unlocked fighter commands and !stats to check your battle record, level, rank, Dragon Balls, and stat point allocation.
!help
!toon
!stats
The game starts with Goku (Early), Gohan (Kid), Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien, Krillin, Saibaman, Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta (Early). If the game is offline, wait for the streamer to enable it.
2. Join the battle queue
Send !battle (or its more commonly used shortcut, !q) once. If a battle is underway, you wait in line; if the queue is free, the game can move you straight to fighter selection. You cannot join the same queue twice, and there is a 30-second post-battle timeout.
You: !battle
Bot: You've joined the queue at position 1.
Bot: Pick a fighter: !goku, !gohan, !piccolo, ...
When it is your turn, choose a fighter within 30 seconds or your selection expires and you must queue again.
3. Choose your fighter
Type one of the unlocked fighter commands shown by the bot or by !toon. Some fighter commands represent a family with multiple unlocked versions. In that case, the bot asks you to pick a version; if you have only one version unlocked, it selects that version automatically.
You: !goku
Bot: Which version of Goku would you like? !early !mid
You: !early
Bot: Choose capsules with !equip, or start without any with !fight.
For a fighter with only one unlocked version, typing the family command (for example, !goku) skips the version prompt.
4. Review your capsules and choose a loadout
After you choose a fighter, the game lists the capsule IDs in your inventory that this fighter can use. You can also use !inventory (or !inv) before your turn to see which unlocked fighters have compatible capsules. Look up capsule details and fighter compatibility on this site's Capsules and Fighters page.
Bot: Available capsules: 1 (Kamehameha), ...
You: !equip 1
Bot: The battle is starting!
!equip (or !eq) accepts up to three listed capsule IDs. Equip no more than one Energy Attack capsule per battle. Some transformations require another transformation in the same loadout and must be entered in prerequisite order. Only choose IDs shown as available for your selected fighter. Equipped capsules are consumed when the battle runs, so check your remaining inventory when planning future fights.
Want to save your items? Use !fight (or !f) to start without capsules. If you have no compatible capsules, the battle starts automatically after a short pause.
5. Watch the battle and collect the result
The battle plays automatically; you do not need to enter turn-by-turn attack commands. Your fighter and the enemy take turns until the battle ends. Attack and Defense affect normal damage, Speed affects initiative and hit chance, and Energy improves Energy Attack capsule damage.
Bot: You Won! You got: [capsule drop]!
Replay Seed: 123456789.
Or: You Lost! You still get the reward.
Replay Seed: 123456789.
Every completed battle awards one weighted capsule drop compatible with a fighter you have unlocked, whether you win or lose. Separately, each battle has a 2% chance to award an Earth Dragon Ball and a 1% chance to award a Namekian Dragon Ball; both can drop in the same battle. The replay seed in the result can be entered on this site's Battle Replay page.
6. Spend level-up stat points
You gain account-wide experience after every battle. Each level gives one stat point, up to level 100. These account wide stats are apllied to ALL fighters you use. For Example, if you have +5 HP, that bonus health is applied to any fighter you use on every fight. Check your current level and unspent points with !stats, then spend points on HP, Attack, Defense, Speed, Energy, or Accuracy.
!stats
!lvl atk 3
!lvl hp
The first example spends three points on Attack (if you have at least three unspent); the second spends one point on HP (if available). Aliases are hp, atk, def, spd, en, and acc (full names also work). Energy only boosts Energy Attack capsules, and Accuracy points are capped at 15. Use !respec to refund your allocated points and redistribute them.
7. Collect Dragon Balls and make wishes
Keep playing to collect Dragon Balls. An Earth wish costs seven Earth Dragon Balls and randomly unlocks an eligible character from the current reward pool: Cooler (Final), Cell 2nd Form, or Meta Cooler. Already unlocked rewards are skipped.
!stats
!wish earth
!toon
Use !stats to check your Earth and Namekian Dragon Ball balances. Namekian wishes cost seven Namekian Dragon Balls, but Namekian rewards are not currently configured; !wish namek reports that rewards are not ready and does not spend your balls.
8. Track your progress and improve
Use !stats for your own wins, losses, level, enemy rank, and points; !inventory to plan capsule use; and !leader (or !lea) to see the in-chat leaderboard. On this website, search your Twitch name on Player Sheet, compare Power Levels on Leaderboard, and browse the Capsules and Fighters directory.
Your enemy rank is separate from leaderboard Power Level. After at least 20 results at your current rank, a win rate of at least 62% promotes you by one rank, while a win rate of at most 38% demotes you by one rank. If neither threshold is reached, results can accumulate to a 40-battle window before the oldest 20 are cleared from the rank calculation.

Patch Notes
Game updates, balance changes, fixes, and new features.
Version 1.1.0
Account progression: Gain experience from battles, level up, and spend stat points on HP, Attack, Defense, Speed, Energy, and Accuracy. Use !level or !lvl to allocate points, and !respec to refund them.
Ranked challenges: Enemy rank now changes more smoothly with your battle performance, with tougher enemy stats and capsule loadouts as you climb. Battle balance and enemy difficulty have also been updated. Higher ranked enemies also grant more account experience.
Dragon Radar: Find a Radar after battle to improve your chances of finding Dragon Balls in upcoming fights. Its effect ends early when a Dragon Ball is found.
Improvements and fixes: Fixed stat point spending and improved player data used by the web app.
